The international conference "Light and Splendour: precious metal as a medium of ritual and social interaction in Late Antiquity" will take place from 20 to 22 January in hybrid mode (in-person at Hotel Odelya in Basel, Missionsstr. 21, and virtually via Zoom).

The evening lecture (Prof. Dr. Martin Wallraff, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München: Lux hic nata est. Zum Lichtcharakter der Spätantike) on Thursday will take place at Wildt’sches Haus, Petersplatz 13, 4051 Basel, and virtually via Zoom.
