Between 1988 and 1994, a settlement sequence from the 1st century BC to the late Roman period was investigated on terrace EZ I. Of the various construction phases, a residential building dating from around the turn of the century and two late Roman settlement phases are the best preserved. Remarkable are the remains of an earthquake destruction of May 21, 363 A.D., as well as the destruction of a bronze workshop of about 100 A.D. The excavations on the terrace were completed in 1994; their publication is largely finished.
