Under the name "Archaeological Club Basel" there exists in Basel an association of lovers of archaeology with the purpose to support the Basel Foundation for Classical Archaeology and to provide its members with stimulation and encouragement in archaeology and its sub-fields, especially through lectures, guided tours as well as shorter or longer study trips.
