EasyDB is a joint image database of the Department of Art History and the Department of Ancient Civilizations of the University of Basel. Both institutions use it to jointly manage digital images for teaching purposes.

The database currently (as of 06/25/2019) includes 79,559 images from the individual subject areas. These include:

• Art History
• Classical Archaeology
• Egyptology
• Pre- and Protohistorical and Provincial Roman Archaeology
• Ancient Near Eastern Studies
• Greek Philology
• Latin Philology
• Historical-Comparative Linguistics
• Ancient History

EasyDB also permits users to search through images from the universities of Zurich, Bern, Hamburg, Halle, FU Berlin and Vienna.
