Personal Integrity

The Department of Ancient Civilizations (DAW) is committed to an educational, research and working environment that ensures the protection of personal integrity and is free from discrimination, bullying and sexual harassment. In order to function successfully as a centre for academic teaching, research and efficient services, it is essential that all staff treat one another with consideration, respect and appreciation.

The contact persons in the department can provide you with further information on possible procedures and reporting options and/or refer you to the appropriate contacts.

At an institutional level, the University also offers further low-threshold support services.

The University’s Personal Integrity Office is tasked with supporting and safeguarding this respectful working culture. It offers personal support to those affected, witnesses and managers. To ensure the protection of personal integrity, this office acts as an easily accessible, confidential and personal point of contact, offering advice and support to staff and students whose personal integrity has been violated, or to those who have witnessed incidents.
