Media Collections for Antiquities Images

The Department of Ancient Civilizations provides staff and students with access to the Image database EasyDB onto which student assistants of the archaeological subjects scan and index images used for teaching purposes.

In addition, the Department of Ancient Civilizations is involved in the maintenance of the Digital LIMC (Lexicon Iconographicum Mythologiae Classicae), which compiles data on ancient mythology in a project networked worldwide and makes it accessible in a database.

Currently, the collection is being inventoried (for the current inventory and reprocessing project).
